"Stop for a moment and notice the color of the roses. Allow that color to seep into your being while breathing them in and visualizing the smell and texture of them. Allow them to permeate your entire being." ~ Pamela Tinkham, LCSW, C-IAYT, SEP

Beach Yoga Returns!

Dear Yogis and Yoginis,

It's been way too long since we have practiced together. Beginning in June on Saturdays, we will resume Beach Yoga. In July and August, there will be 2 classes per month. Here is the schedule so far:

  • Saturday, June 6th, 2015 - SUNRISE YOGA  (yes, bright and early!)
  • Saturday, June 13th, 2015 - 9:30am Beach Yoga
  • Saturday, June 20th, 2015 - 9:30am Beach Yoga
  • Saturday, June 27th, 2015 - 9:30am Beach Yoga
  • Saturday, July 25th, 2015 - 9:30am Beach Yoga
  • Saturday, August 1st, 2015 - 9:30am Beach Yoga

Our famous NYC teachers, Jackie and Angela, will do their best to join us for one of the Saturdays in each month. All classes will be at West Beach in Stamford, so get your beach passes if you don't have them already from the government center. If you are not a Stamford resident, you can purchase a day pass at the parking lot for $25. Last year they did not always check passes at 9:30am and some students found parking on the street and walked in to avoid the parking fee. Class will be $20 cash and you will receive a confirmation email the morning of, once your attendance is confirmed.

We have 15 RSVPs so far!  Please RSVP only if you have not already. Can't wait to see all of you!

Namaste & Love,

Conquering Teen Depression...

Navigating Around the Pressures of Social Media

Presented by Pamela Tinkham, MSW, LCSW, RYT

If you missed the last one, come join us!

Whether you are a parent with a teen who is suffering from depression, a parent who is stressed, or a teen who wants support, please join us for this interactive seminar.
Yoga Psychotherapist Pamela Tinkham will teach a didactic and interactive seminar which will include meditative techniques for calming the mind, embodying the emotions, and soothing the spirit. All ages are welcome to attend!

"May our children and our children's children live in a more peaceful world!"

Conquering Depression

Not a way out… A way through

Pamela Tinkham, MSW, LCSW has spent the last 10 years treating people with depression from a holistic perspective. She combines Western mental health practices with Eastern philosophy; bridging the gap between talk therapy, medication, meditation and spirituality.

Conquering Depression will teach you how to move through the depression with various coping skills, closed eye processes, simple movements and breathing techniques. This class will assist you in pulling together all of your resources to move forward from stuck places in your life.

"Even though many things are beyond our control in life, we can learn to change our lens and view things from a larger perspective. Like anything else in life, it is not a quick fix, but rather a practice of turning inward towards our true self with love and nurturing. I hope you will come to the class and join me on this journey!"

Even though the cocktail party and auction benefit for Bradley Carbone is over, you can still help by making a donation. Please visit for details.
